We deliver a broad range of News and Media monitoring services, as well as Analysis reports, that guarantee measurable results and a positive impact on your business.
Herewith an outline of our services:
|Online news monitoring||Social media monitoring||Print media monitoring||TV monitoring|
|We have developed our own search engine that allows us to monitor thousands of online news sources worldwide. Using Boolean Search technology, we are able to refine and filter the results - thereby guaranteeing close to 100% accuracy. We are able to add additional websites to our monitoring list, as well as filter out coverage which our clients do not want to receive.||Using software that we developed ourselves, our Social Media monitoring service includes monitoring of Twitter, Facebook, roughly 190 million blogs and over 65,000 message boards and forums. In our experience, the use of "hash tags" or "handles" increases the relevancy of the coverage we find and deliver - but we also make use of Boolean Search technology to ensure the accuracy of information.||Print media monitoring searches a combination of traditional print publications as well as digital publications, which are scanned into our database using the latest OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to identify keywords or search phrases provided to us by our clients. We deliver the coverage in easy to access PDF documents, which can be downloaded and printed.||For the monitoring of Television stations, we make use of world-leading "Speech to Text" software that has been developed and refined over a number of years to ensure up to 95% accuracy. We then use humans to listen to each item picked up by the "Speech to Text" software to verify its relevance before sending it to our clients. We are able to monitor more than 2, 000 TV channels across the globe (24/7/365).|
|Radio monitoring||Analysis reports||News feeds||Transcription|
|For the monitoring of Radio stations, we make use of world-leading "Speech to Text" software that has been developed and refined over many years to ensure up to 95% accuracy. We then use humans to listen to each item picked up by the "Speech to Text" software to verify its relevance before sending it to our clients. We are able to monitor more than 2, 500 Radio channels across the globe (24/7/365).||We offer a variety of Analysis reports ranging from basic to in-depth analysis reports - whereby each article is read and analysed by our team of specialists according to its tone, sentiment and topic. Reports can be delivered as often as required, and in any format (MS-Excel, Ms-Word, MS-PowerPoint or PDF). We also provide our analysis reports on an ADHOC basis.||Our technology has been designed to deliver any of our Media Monitoring or News Monitoring services in the form of customised News feeds to your website, intranet or extranet. We can deliver coverage in a XML, RSS, or HTML format. This service also assists with the SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) of your website, to ensure your website remains up to date and relevant at all times.||We are able to provide our clients with accurate full text transcriptions of any Television or Radio interview. We use humans (not software) to convert audio or video files into written text, which ensures 100% relevance and accuracy. The transcription files are proof read and spell checked before delivery, and can be delivered in less than 24 hours (Depending on the length of the interviews).|

|We are pleased to announce that towards the end of 2015, Novus Group concluded an arrangement whereby we took over
the products, staff & clients of a South African company called The News Monitor. Founded in 2003, The News Monitor
offers comprehensive print media coverage with a national footprint - covering Daily
and Weekly News Papers, Community Papers and Trade Magazines. Our emphasis is on quality, and as such, The News Monitor
actively uses the “Human Element” in capturing and allocating coverage. Articles are scanned in original format and size,
with all pictures and graphics included, and are quality checked for accuracy prior to being included in our database.
The HTML links are pre-authenticated, which allows for easy forwarding on to multiple recipients. The links (URL’s) are
stable and permanent, and stored on our secure server. They take users directly to the article. For more information,
