Print media monitoring refers to the process of searching through a combination of traditional print media publications (newspapers, magazines, journals etc.) as well as digital publications (PDF & online publications), which are scanned into our database using the latest OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software to identify keywords or search phrases provided to us by our clients.
How Print Media Works
Novus Group’s print media monitoring begins with our Library team checking receipt of publications at predefined intervals (Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Bi-Monthly, Quarterly and Annually).
Our Print department then receive the pages and the following procedure starts:
We digitally “cut out” the articles that contain the keywords or search phrases provided to us by our clients.
Our Publication Split:
We spell check and capture the articles into our system, before it is sent to clients. South Africa – Regionally and provincially with over 2012 publications. 17 Southern African Countries with over 466 publications. On special request we can assist with Canada, UAE, United Kingdom & USA (as well as many other international countries).
